Manna Housing
Manna Housing was born opportunely to benefit the needs of the community with mental and physical health support needs. We use an innovative service model to deliver a holistic approach to enhance recovery and promote independence.
The management team at Manna Housing believe passionately in the benefits of a holistic approach to recovery and aims to create a vibrant community hub; promoting a way of life that gives people as many opportunities as possible to remain mentally, physically, spiritually and socially active.
The accommodations provide self-contained, ensuite rooms to promote independence and dignity.
How do we do this?
We do this by:
- training our staff to the highest standards and by including specific training around, recovery, solution focused therapy, enablement, self-determination and inclusive decision making.
- professional staff with a minimum qualification of QCF Health & Social Care Level 3 and providing ongoing additional and specialist training.
- signing up to the Social Care commitment to ensure that excellent care is delivered as standard.
- encouraging staff and residents to become Dignity Champions to ensure that residents are treated with dignity.
- encouraging residents to form Residents’ Committees at every scheme to direct the social life of the scheme according to residents’ wishes.
- encouraging residents to form social groups and engage in community services around schemes.
